Well-known YouTubers are stepping their foot into the Web3 world.
The well-known YouTube comedy pair, Rhett & Link, has introduced a dedicated channel on Rewarded.tv, a Web3 streaming video service.
Rewarded.tv is a part of the blockchain streaming platform Replay, which rewards users for watching films, live channels, or TV shows through its on-chain infrastructure. The platform tracks user activity and rewards them in both cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

Rhett & Link’s channel on Rewarded, called Mythical 24/7, will feature their popular YouTube talk show “Good Mythical Morning,” food-centric series “Mythical Kitchen,” and their podcast “Ear Biscuits.”
As viewers watch the channel, they can earn the platform’s native RPLAY token, which can be exchanged for premium content and other benefits. It is worth noting that RPLAY tokenized infrastructure is powered by Layer-1 blockchain Theta.
Viewers can accumulate cryptocurrency not only by watching content but also by competing on leaderboards, completing missions, collecting NFT badges, and attending live watch parties.
The announcement of Rhett & Link’s channel marks a broader effort by Rewarded to introduce mass audiences to Web3 using premium content from recognizable brands.
When asked about the initiative, Replay CEO Krish Arvapally acknowledges the importance of user-friendliness, noting:
We’re bringing in new users who aren’t necessarily familiar with crypto. We understand how important it is for media brands to ensure their Web3 experiences are as simple as they are fun. Luckily, the industry is quickly catching up, and once users are watching, getting into the crypto side of things only takes an email address.
The launch of Rhett & Link’s Web3 channel on Rewarded.tv signifies an exciting shift in the entertainment industry, with the potential to revolutionize audience engagement through tokenized rewards.
